1. What are orthotic thongs or flip flops?
Our Orthotic Thongs all feature an in-built orthotic footbed which provides proper support for your feet, unlike regular flat thongs. The arch support thongs help improve alignment, reduce strain, and relieve pressure on the heels and arches. These thongs are ideal for everyday wear, at the beach, recovery after sports activity or long hours on your feet. For those not from Australia, “thongs” are also known as “flip flops”, “slippers” or “jandals” internationally.
2. Are these orthotic thongs suitable for plantar fasciitis?
Yes, absolutely! Our plantar fasciitis thongs have been specially designed to relieve heel and arch pain by supporting the natural shape of your foot. The orthotic footbed inside reduces pressure on the plantar fascia and provides support and cushioning where it’s needed most. These foot pain relief thongs are also suitable for other conditions such as flat feet, overpronation, heel spurs etc.
3. Are these comfortable for daily wear?
Yes, absolutely. Our comfortable thongs are designed for all-day use. The soft, bouncy EVA foam sole absorbs shock, while the arch support structure keeps your feet stable and relaxed. They’re great for walking around the house, going to the beach, everyday casual wear, or worn after a workout.
4. What is the difference between these types of thongs?
Good question. The Archline and Axign Thongs share the same footbed structure and support. The difference lies in the material used. The Archline Rebound Thongs is our newest version. They are a single piece (strap and sole are one piece) and are 100% Rebound EVA, which is a special type of EVA formulated to be lightweight, bouncier, comfortable, durable and provide optimal energy return with every step. The Balance Thongs are of similar composition, but are actually the older ancestor version of the Rebound Thongs. The strap and sole of these are also separate and fastened via plugs.
The Axign thongs are a more traditional design, made with neoprene lined fabric strap with a dual layer EVA and TPR rubber sole. This makes the Axign thongs more heavier but the trade off is the rubber sole makes it more grippy which is more suited to off-road/varied terrains (i.e. dirt paths and steps).
5. How do I know my size before ordering?

6. What are the fit of these thongs?
Our thongs are unisex but standard fitting conventions apply. They are both a D width for Women’s or an EE width for Men’s. This fit is classed as normal to wide, and is 1 standard deviation wider than a standard C (women’s) and D (men’s) width. This means normal feet to wide feet will fit comfortably in these shoes.
7. What if I have narrow feet?
Due to the nature of open style footwear, narrow feet tend to find it harder to fit into our thongs and they may not be suitable.
8. Where are you from and where do you ship from?
We are a 100% Australian owned company, based in Melbourne, Australia. We ship directly from our headquarters here in Knoxfield, Melbourne.
9. Are your thongs recommended by health professionals?
Yes. Our entire range of thongs, insoles, and shoes are sold and recommended by podiatrists and physios all around Australia. Our products have also been designed in collaboration with podiatrists and footwear experts.
10. What if my thongs don’t fit properly?
No worries! We offer a 45-day return or swap policy. If you’re not completely happy with the fit, you can easily exchange or return your product. It is our mission to help you find the perfect fit and to walk in total comfort and confidence.
